When it comes to visiting Paris, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum often top the must-see list. However, on my recent trip to the City of Love, I decided to take a different approach. Rather than rushing from one famous landmark to another, I opted for a more relaxed and local experience.
Our days typically began with a leisurely breakfast at one of the chic cafes that grace the picturesque streets of Paris. Sipping on cafe au lait and savoring a croissant while observing the world pass by was the perfect way to start our day. It offered us a chance to immerse ourselves in the charming Parisian atmosphere and truly feel like locals.
We decided to visit the Eiffel Tower early in the morning, giving us the opportunity to appreciate the iconic structure in its full splendor without the crowds and commotion. At every turn, we caught glimpses of the tower from various angles.
After our visit to the Eiffel Tower, we leisurely explored the Champs-Elysees, globally acclaimed for its high-end boutiques and designer stores. Our objective? To uncover a distinctive Parisian souvenir. And, much to my joy, I found it—a stunning bag! It happens to be my fifth bag on this trip, haha!
While we did visit some of the city's famous attractions, like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Luxembourg Gardens, our main goal was simply to chill out and soak in the Parisian atmosphere. Whether it was enjoying a picnic along the Seine or stumbling upon a hidden gem of a boulangerie. Paris revealed its true magic when we slowed down and lived in the moment.
