Have you ever watched a movie that left such a deep impression on you that it became a lifelong dream to experience the place it was set in? For me, that movie is "Under the Tuscan Sun," and the dream destination was Tuscany.
As soon as I set foot in Florence, I knew I was in for a treat. The charming streets lined with chic boutiques and the romantic ambiance of the city instantly transported me into my own "Under the Tuscan Sun" adventure. The narrow streets seemed to whisper tales of centuries past, and I couldn't wait to explore every nook and cranny.
While I had initially planned to immerse myself in the rich history and culture of Florence, fate had other plans. My husband fell sick, which meant I had more time to explore the city on my own. And what better way to fill that time than with shopping? Florence proved to be a shopper's paradise. The boutiques were a treasure trove of fashion, accessories, and unique finds.
I must admit, I indulged in some serious retail therapy during my time in Florence. I ended up buying not one, not two, but four bags (oops!) during this trip! Each piece was a unique work of art, a testament to the craftsmanship that Florence is renowned for.

As I wandered Florence's charming streets, it dawned on me that this city would forever be a part of me. I decided my future daughter would be named Florentine, a tribute to the place that captured my heart.
